Diagnostic Endoscopy Procedures

• Performed and reported more than 2000 diagnostic Upper GI endoscopies.
• Completed about 200 proctosigmoidoscopies and more than 400 colonoscopies.
• Performed over 75 diagnostic and therapeutic pediatric endoscopies at Niloufer Hospital for Women and Children, one of the largest pediatric referral centers in the country.

Therapeutic Endoscopy Procedures

• Managed over 250 esophageal variceal bleeding cases endoscopically using esophageal banding.
• Biopsied more than 500 patients from the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum, and taken more than 150 colonic and rectal biopsies.
• Performed esophageal stricture bougie dilatation in over 90 patients across 180 sessions.
• Completed around 10 percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tube placements and 20 achalasia cardia pneumatic balloon dilatations.
• Performed a significant number of CRE dilatation procedures for esophageal and gastric strictures.
• Assisted in more than 200 ERCP procedures and independently performed a substantial number of ERCPs.
